Get started with NewsNinja 3
If you are new to the app, Getting Started with NewsNinja 3 is the place to begin.
It walks through adding your first sources, importing existing RSS subscriptions with OPML, and connecting weather, calendar events, and reminders. It also explains the roles of Today, Feeds, and Discover, including how Home in Feeds relates to Today Home.
You will learn how to bring websites, YouTube channels, Reddit communities, podcasts, and social feeds into your collection, then find more sources when you are ready to explore.
Make NewsNinja your own
How to Customize NewsNinja covers the choices that shape your everyday experience.
Compare Compact, Card, and Magazine list layouts, adjust the reader’s font and colors, choose your start page, and set a preferred translation language. The guide also explains categories, sidebar ordering, and how Scientific grouping brings together stories with similar headlines.
It is a useful starting point for finding settings you may not have tried yet, or making a familiar reading setup more comfortable.
Build a Today dashboard around your day
How to Customize Your Today Dashboard takes a closer look at Today.
Learn the difference between Detailed and Prominent, give favorite feeds and categories their own sections, and arrange news alongside weather, calendar events, reminders, and crypto tickers. The guide explains how to configure Overview, use it to focus the dashboard, and choose an 8, 12, or 24 hour window for recent feed content.
Start with a few useful sections, then adjust the dashboard around what you actually check each day.
Keep your feeds organized
As your collection grows, How to Organize Your Feeds in NewsNinja helps you keep it easy to browse.
Follow the steps to add sources, combine different feed types in categories, and choose which sources belong in Home. You will also find explanations of filters, sorting, list layouts, and the difference between removing a dashboard section and deleting a source.
The aim is to make a larger collection feel manageable, while keeping the sources you care about easy to reach.
Find the help you need
You can reach Guides from the website’s top navigation or the Resources section in the footer. The guides are available in English, Italian, German, Japanese, French, and Spanish, and you can switch languages from the guide pages.
